Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a warm, compassionate Female Senior Extra Care Support Worker to provide person-centred care to scheme residents in Hattersley, Tameside. You will work closely with the Management Team to deliver a supportive, empowering service for over-55 residents in an independent living setting.

Experience in services for older people, dementia and memory loss is essential. Full training is provided, with opportunities to pursue a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Job description

We are seeking a warm, compassionate and proactive Female Senior Extra Care Support Worker to provide person-centered care and support to our services users based in Hattersley, Tameside.

Creative Support is working with a local housing provider who has recently developed a brand new scheme, which will be providing the highest standards of care to over-55 year olds in an independent living setting.

As a key member of our team, you will assist the Management Team in delivering an empowering service that meets the needs of our clients, while fostering a positive atmosphere in collaboration with service users' families and friends. Flexibility, energy, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.Embracing all aspects of the role, from providing personal care and domestic support to helping individuals access work, education, and social opportunities you will provide valued support via the unique personal skills and interests you bring in order to enrich the lives of those we support.Previous experience in services for older people, people with dementia and memory loss is essential. Your approach will be warm, person centered, and respectful.
