A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a full-time wheelchair user with mild learning difficulties affecting my short-term memory. I live independently in Cardiff with support from my family and sister, especially regarding finances and care.

I am 40 years old, living in Llandaff North, Cardiff. I need assistance with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, food prep, and driving my wheelchair accessible vehicle for outings.

I experience social anxiety but enjoy outings once I am out. I love movies, especially horror, and enjoy drives in my adapted van. I have a wicked sense of humor, can be sarcastic, and have speech difficulties. Patience and understanding are appreciated.

Purpose of Job

Assist with activities at home and in the community.

Place of Work

Based in Llandaff North, Cardiff. Travel may be required. A full manual driving license is essential.

Hours of Work

Part of a 24-hour care package with shifts. Cover needed for absences of current carers, as required.

Rate of Pay

£11.00 per hour.
