Job description

Adult Services - Supporting Living, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole

We are looking to recruit a personal support assistant to join our Supported Living team providing care to adults with disabilities in their own home. Our Supported Living Team work around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year, to deliver high-quality care. Working with us means meeting a diverse range of characters and making a real difference.

We have the following contracts available:

  1. 42.25 hours per week
  2. 35 hours per week
  3. 30.5 hours per week

Please note: You will be required to work every other weekend and a mixture of days, nights, and sleep-in shifts.

*Due to current service demands, we require a FEMALE Lead Support*

We are looking to welcome new personal support assistants to work with two ladies in their own homes.

Both individuals need full support with daily needs and enjoy engaging in activities like swimming, music, dance, day trips, coffee outings, and relaxing evenings watching soaps and chatting over tea or coffee.

You will provide practical, physical, social, and emotional support, promoting independence and well-being.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, kind, caring, reliable, and have a good sense of humour.

We offer comprehensive training and opportunities to work towards a Level 2 qualification to build your confidence.

Responsibilities include supporting outdoor activities, cooking, social events, medication administration, and personal care.

One lady has diabetes and epilepsy and requires support to manage these conditions.
