JOB REF: ES1023

I am looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to join my daughter’s support team. As a young woman in her twenties with numerous complex health needs, ideally you will have experience supporting someone and promoting independence both within her home environment, during days out, and in a day centre setting. At times, support may be required on a 2:1 basis.

You will receive:

• Standard rate starting from £10.50 per hour, enhanced rate £11.00 per hour
• 5.6 weeks annual leave per year, pro-rata
• Full certificated training on all aspects of the role

Hours available:

• A variety of full and part-time hours, covering shifts of 4 – 10 hours. 1:1 support is required over a 24/7 period, and 2:1 support is generally required between 4.30pm – 10pm.
• Opportunities to work additional hours during holidays and sickness.

What’s Required:

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, hair washing, and dressing.
• A full driving licence is desirable but not essential; vehicle insurance covers drivers over 25 years old.
• Flexibility in working hours is essential; night shifts may also be required.
• An enhanced DBS check will be conducted; the employer will cover the cost.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
