Penderels Trust is seeking a caring support worker in Dunholme to assist with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks. You will help with daily activities, social engagement and attending appointments as needed, with DBS disclosure required.
Flexible weekend coverage is available; car driver preferred but not essential. Roles involve 11 hours weekly plus 24 hours alternate weekends. Training will be provided, and you will work as part of a supportive team.

I am a lady living in own home in Dunholme with family, who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. I am a great communicator, but you will need to facilitate with the physical aspects only, including general housework, supporting with caring for my children and support with social activities. Training will be given. Flexible weekends required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Only candidates aged 18 or over should apply for this position as you will be required to administer medication.
The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
