Female Personal Care Assistant P/T @ £13.21/hr in Dudley - 15 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Care/Support Worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting a client in Dudley. The role involves supporting a client with a degenerative muscular disease to maintain an independent lifestyle at home and in the community. The client has interests in health, nutrition, travel, period dramas, and education.

You will assist the client outside the home to access the community using a wheelchair. A full clean driving license is required as you will need to drive the client's wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

You will work as part of a small team on both 1:1 and 2:1 basis, with contracted hours of 15 per week, covering shifts between 8am and 10pm. The shifts include:

1. 8am-10am
2. 8am-1.30pm
3. 12.30pm-6.30pm
4. 5.30pm-10pm
5. 8.45pm-10pm

• Experience in personal care, moving and handling (including hoisting), meal preparation (gluten-free), medication assistance, housework, companionship, administrative support, and supporting clients in activities and appointments
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexible to cover leave and sickness
