A personal care service provider in the UK seeks a Female Personal Care Assistant to support a young lady with severe disabilities. The role involves managing daily activities, providing personal care, and promoting social interaction. Ideal candidates should be reliable, have common sense, and be willing to undergo training. This position can be offered on an employed or self-employed basis.
Female Personal Care Assistant required for a 35-year-old young lady with severe learning disability, tracheostomy, laryngectomy, corrected spinal scoliosis, and epilepsy. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support with daily activities, manage tracheostomy and epilepsy, and promote learning, recreation, and socialization.
The ideal candidate should be a woman with a driving license, plenty of common sense, responsibility, and 100% reliability. Nursing qualifications are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The candidate should be respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality, reliable with good timekeeping, able to follow instructions and work on own initiative, hygienic, tidy, and well-organized.
