Overview

Female Personal Care Assistant, DP/RP39. This role is compliant with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Work: exceptions, Part 1, Occupational requirements).

Full time, working with another Personal Care Assistant. Location: Callands area of Warrington. Rate of pay £12.60 per hour. The Personal Assistant is required to assist a young lady, a full time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Hours
  • 12 hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Weekdays; weekends available.
  • 12 hour waking nights: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM; Weekends available.
  • One waking night shift, hours arranged at interview stage – could be split.
  • 12 hour Weekdays and weekends, to be arranged at interview stage.
  • These hours are not on a rota, but could be split.
About

This young lady lives in her family home with her family, she enjoys being around people and socialising. Dining out, watching her favourite comedies and has a great sense of humour and understanding.

Essential requirements
  • Female (due to personal care)
  • Driving licence and over 25 for insurance on mobility vehicle
  • Experience in care work, lifting and handling, PEG feeding, feeding and swallowing experience
  • Experience with administering medication
  • Experience in dealing with seizures

Common sense and a good sense of humour with a bubbly outgoing personality.
