A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a teenager living with my family in the Grangetown area of Cardiff. I have learning difficulties as I have Down’s syndrome, and looking for someone to support me with activities I like. I don’t have speak however, can make myself understood in other ways. I enjoy cycling, swimming, walking and going to the cinema. It is essential to employ a female due to my personal care needs. I have a fear of animals of all kinds especially cats and dogs.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I need someone to support me to access activities in my local community.

PLACE OF WORK

In my local community

HOURS OF WORK

2 x 3 hour sessions per week on a Wednesday between 3pm – 6pm (straight from school) and a Sunday 9.30 am – 12.30 lunchtime.

RATE OF PAY

£12.60 per hour

TASKS INVOLVED

·Keeping me safe by supporting me, enabling me to access activities in the local community. I need a PA to join me in the swimming pool.

·Being patient when I am attempting activities.

·Assisting me with personal care needs.
