Female Personal Assistant required for lady in Blofield, NR13 6 hpw £12.38 p/w - Norwich - NR13

Job Purpose

I am looking for a female Personal Assistant to support me in my home and in the community. I have been diagnosed with chronic health conditions which affect my mobility. I also have autism and anxiety, which affect my confidence. I live with my 17-year-old son, who has additional needs.

Ideally, you will help with planning, shopping for, and preparing healthy meals. Assistance with keeping my home clean and tidy, organizing, and managing finances and paperwork is also needed. I may require prompting with personal care and occasional assistance with this. Due to my health conditions, I sometimes struggle to meet my physical health goals and would like support in achieving them. I also wish to access the community and join groups of people with similar conditions. I enjoy arts and crafts.

Location: Blofield, NR13

Summary Terms and Conditions

• Pay rate: £12.38 per hour.
• Hours: 6 hours per week, ideally over 2 or 3 days (to be discussed at interview).
• Holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 weeks of work.
• Access to free Care Skills training for employees.
• Mandatory training for Manual Handling, Hazardous Chemicals, and Food Handling if required, with annual refreshers.
• Reimbursement for agreed expenses incurred during work.

Post conditions:

• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer).
• Satisfactory references from two referees, including current or last employer.
• Completion of a 6-month probation period.
