Job description

I am looking for a personal assistant (PA) to provide practical support and social companionship to my elderly mum when I have to go to the store or office.

The PA will help my mum to eat and drink when needed, help with dressing and undressing, and keep her company. The PA will also provide mobility support when getting in and out of a wheelchair.

Person Specification:

The applicant does not need to have previous experience in helping a person using a wheelchair, as they will receive appropriate training.

The applicant must be reliable and trustworthy. It is important that the PA knows my needs and responds to them. Considering that a personal assistant is needed for one to one work, it is important that the employer and the employee maintain a mutual, open and honest relationship. It would be great if you spoke Polish, but it is not necessary.

I am looking for someone to work 10 hours a week, the shift pattern is agreed between the employee and the employer.

Rate of pay: £12.87 per hour.
