Job description

Introduction:

I am a 58-year-old lady in a wheelchair and due to being young at heart, this can be very frustrating for me. An opportunity has arisen for someone to join my small team of support. I love to go Swimming/Aquafit; going out for coffee and going to the Gym. I have two adorable black cats who are so important to me.

Duties:
  • To support with Personal Care needs, Medication and Meal prep for Healthy Eating.
  • Supporting with exercise, Light housework, Admin and Filing tasks.
  • Assistance with making phone calls, like booking appointments etc.
  • Support with Access into the Community.
  • Attend appointments.
  • Support with looking after my cats, feeding them, ensuring they have plenty of water, and cleaning their litter tray.

Hours:

Negotiable, under review, to fit appointment times on a 2-week rolling rota and to include cover for sickness and holidays.

Rate: £12.21 to £13.00 per hour, depending on qualifications/experience.

Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent timekeeping skills.
  • Must have a good level of English.
  • Confidence to handle phone calls.
  • Like cats.
  • Be a good emotional support when attending appointments.
Desired Experience:
  • Open and willing to learn.
  • An understanding of mental health.
  • A driving license.
