The role involves ensuring safety and well-being, participating in various activities such as swimming, cycling, and arts. No previous experience necessary as training will be provided. Candidates must be non-smokers with a clean driving license and undergo references and DBS checks.
Female carer to join a small team supporting a young lady with learning and physical disabilities. The role is to support the lady and keep her safe, working alongside colleagues, in her home and on a variety of activities that she participates in during the week, including swimming, horse riding, cycling, going for walks, participating in activity groups including art and music, etc. Playing games and reading stories.
I am a 40-year-old female who lives at home with mum and dad and our cat Brian. I enjoy a wide variety of activities as listed above and love watching DVDs (Disney, Postman Pat, Moomins etc), listening to stories and playing games. I use a wheelchair for getting around, but I can walk short distances if supported, and sometimes get around the house on my bottom. I like going out and about and seeing interesting things.
