Job description

Job title: Female Personal Assistant

Rates of pay: £12.50 per hour

Location: Blakelaw, Newcastle

About Me:

My name is Dennis, I am 47 years old, and I live with my sister Tracie, who is responsible for my care, along with her partner and a small dog.

I have hearing and visual impairments, which can cause communication challenges, including long pauses and out-of-sync responses. Being a good listener is essential.

I am passionate about computers, but since having a stroke, I cannot access mine. Someone with an interest in computers would be ideal.

I have limited mobility and require assistance with transfers using a stand aid and with personal care.

I enjoy drinking tea and need encouragement to stay hydrated. I like to nap in the afternoons for a couple of hours.

Experience working with disabled adults with visual impairments is preferred.

Driver required.

This role is subject to a DBS check.
