I am a 23-year-old female medical student living in Chapel House in private housing. I enjoy keeping active, especially dancing, basketball, and cycling. I am a creative person and enjoy crafts. I also enjoy reading and learning new things.

I am looking for a personal assistant to support me with tasks including:

  • Cleaning and general housework
  • Grocery shopping
  • Preparing medication
  • Driving me places
  • Social support
  • Occasional tasks, depending on health, may include personal care, such as helping me shower or change clothes. Support in hospital visits may also be required.

Due to multiple chronic health conditions and wheelchair use, support with personal care may be necessary. A PA with a car is ideal but not essential; however, the PA must be able to drive a large automatic car when needed.

Looking for someone who is personable, has good initiative, and excellent time-keeping skills. Experience supporting those with chronic health conditions or training in this field is preferred. Willingness to learn is also valued.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post to be held by a male or female, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Equality Act 2010.
