Job Description:

Hours: approx. 3 hours per week (to be discussed at interview)

Rate of Pay: from age-related NMW up to £12.15 per hour

We have a 7-year-old autistic active young lady who lives with her mum and 2 siblings and is looking to recruit a PA.

This young lady is non-verbal and loves outdoor activities, including climbing, playing in sand and mud, watching her tablet, and looking at trains and buses.

The PA would support engagement in social activities like trips to the park, providing respite for Mum. The PA should be aware that this child has no sense of danger.

A driver is preferred but not essential.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male or female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1–4.
