We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Stockport seeking an enthusiastic and driven female PE teacher to join their successful PE department from September 2025 . This is a long- term position with the possibility of a permanent offer for the right candidate.
The school has an excellent reputation for promoting student wellbeing, teamwork, and active lifestyles. PE is a highly valued subject, with strong student engagement and fantastic facilities including a gymnasium, all- weather pitch, and access to local sports venues.
Teach Girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4 , delivering a variety of sports and physical education units.
Develop innovative and inclusive lesson plans that promote both skill development and enjoyment.
Encourage students to participate in extra- curricular clubs and inter- school competitions.
Monitor student progress, complete regular assessments and support individual learners where necessary.
Support the PE department in whole- school health and wellbeing initiatives.
UK QTS with a degree in Physical Education or Sports Science.
Previous experience teaching girls’ PE in a secondary setting.
Strong organisational skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.
Passion for developing students’ personal growth and physical confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
