We are seeking an enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Wigan on a supply basis, starting from February half term, with the potential for a long-term position. The role will involve teaching across the age range and is suitable for someone new to the profession or with some experience looking to transition to a different environment.

Contract Details

• Position: PE Teacher
• Type of Work: Temporary, day-to-day
• Start Date: February half term (26th)

• Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day
• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, plus parents' evenings and departmental meetings as required

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (training can be provided if needed)
• Up-to-date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (training can be provided if needed)

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
