About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a passion for sports and fitness, and the ability to engage students in a variety of physical activities. You will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical fitness among students. Assistance with the completion of ECT may be available for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons that cater to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that covers a range of physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, fitness training, and health education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages all students to participate and achieve their personal best.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their physical and personal development.
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports programs, competitions, and events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities and maintain equipment and facilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in physical education and incorporate them into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student growth and school initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
  • PGCE in Physical Education.
  • Proven experience teaching physical education at the primary/secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health education principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of physical education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Must have a UK teaching Qualification and experience in working in UK Secondary schools
