Career Teachers is working with a secondary school in Harrow. We are looking for a Female PE Cover Supervisor/Teacher on a long-term or day-to-day basis. This is a great opportunity to work flexibly and gain experience within schools. Please note that options for all gender roles are available on a day-to-day basis.

Cover supervisors work in schools providing support to teaching teams by covering classes and ensuring students are engaged with tasks. This is a key role within secondary schools, especially in the absence of regular teachers. The role has grown in recent years, and almost every secondary school employs cover supervisors.

The Cover Supervisor is responsible for classroom control and the safety of children under their supervision.

Anyone with the following experience is suitable for the position:

• No formal qualifications required.
• Zumba or dance class instructors looking to move into secondary teaching.
• Experience working with secondary or further education, or as a PE tutor.
• Graduates in Sports or Physical Education.
• Sports coaches, youth workers.
• HLTA/TA with a PE background.
