Overview

Female Waking Night Support Worker – PART TIME!

Join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker and make a real difference in the life of people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

  • Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
  • x1 30-hour contract.
  • Wake night shifts 10pm-8am across 7 day week.
  • £12.31 per hour

In this role, you will provide 1:1 support or shared support across 2-3 people per shift. This supported living home supports 4 people on a wake night, with Building 2 offering 1:1 support for one woman. You will be on shift with 3 other members of the team including a sleep-in staff member, ensuring that the individuals we support feel secure and supported for throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform household tasks to maintain a safe and clean home.
  • Conduct health and safety checks to ensure the safety of everyone in the home.
  • Complete accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Manage the environment to ensure comfort and security during the night.
  • Administer and manage medications in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide personal care and support with hygiene as required.
  • Work independently throughout the night while maintaining high standards of support.

Whilst you will only be working nights, there is an expectation that during your induction period, and for certain training and team events, you will be required to work day hours.
