Do you want to become part of an amazing organisation? As a Support Worker, you will help to promote the health and wellbeing of those you support. This will include making sure women access the health services they need; have as healthy a diet as possible; and live in a home environment that supports their wellbeing. This is an interesting and rewarding role, where no two days are ever the same. This service needs people committed to delivering high quality, person-centred support.
We are looking for women who are passionate about empowering women. A good communicator, who can build valued relationships with others, you will be able to use your judgement and common sense to get the best possible results for each person you support. Your focus will always be on the person you are supporting, promoting their dignity, and ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality are maintained. The nature of the role includes support with budgeting, managing their mental health, developing life skills, and supporting service users into community opportunities, helping people achieve their goals.
Working as part of a team supporting women who have been discharged from secure services and have severe and enduring mental health diagnoses. The service delivered is a person-centred approach and therapeutically driven environment that puts women at the heart of their own recovery.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will be provided with a standard induction course along with a comprehensive package of specialist training.
