Emerald Place Clinic in Horley is recruiting an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work in a 12-bed CAMHS service, delivering high-quality care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves rolling shifts (3 days or nights one week, 4 days or nights the next), mentoring colleagues, and maintaining clear care records while promoting evidence-based practice.

What you will be doing:

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure young people in this 12 bed CAMHS service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. You will work 3 days or nights one week and 4 days or nights the next on a rolling rota. The shift patterns are 7.30am-8pm or 7.30pm-8am. The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users

Where you will be working:

Location: Emerald Place Clinic, Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Horley, RH6 0BN Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs. These could include Mental Health conditions such as Mood Disorders and acute Psychosis. Additionally young people may have co-existing additional needs such as Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including mild Learning Disabilities or Autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
