Job description

Female Leisure Team Member Apprentice - Merton

• 40 hours per week on a shift pattern basis, including weekend working. Exact shifts to be confirmed.

You will be a permanent member of the Leisure Centre Team, performing roles such as General Assistant, Recreation Assistant, Concierge, Swimming Teacher, and Fitness Instructor. Your specific roles will depend on your qualifications and the centre's needs.

Summary

The Leisure Team Member – Apprentice role offers an excellent opportunity to work, learn, and develop your career within GLL. You will work towards the Leisure Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship over 18 months, alongside your daily responsibilities.

Customer Experience

• Understanding the services and products to assist customer questions
• Supporting various customer needs
• Gathering customer feedback and addressing complaints
• Supporting swimming lessons (qualification dependent)
• Sharing knowledge about exercise's role in health and wellbeing
• Conducting gym inductions and health screenings (qualification dependent)
• Planning and delivering exercise sessions to meet fitness goals
