Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home provides clinically outstanding, personalised homecare to children and adults across England. As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care in the client’s home, including personal care, medication support, and assisting with clinical interventions.

You will work with a 19-year-old client with complex needs, providing 1:1 care and helping enrich life through community activities and goal attainment.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
• Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support in the client’s home on shift.
• Administer medications and support clinical interventions.
• Engage the client in community activities to enrich quality of life.

Pay rates: from £14.86 - £17.10 hour (including holiday pay)

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 19-year-old male client within his family home, who is living with several complex care needs. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions that include mechanical cough assist, gastro tube care, non invasive ventilation and oral suctioning (all training will be provided).

We are looking for team members who will enrich his life through the encouragement of being out in the community and socialising.
