Location: Hayes, West London Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (Outer London) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by negotiation)

The Role:

  1. Lead the PE department with vision, ambition, and a passion for excellence.
  2. Develop and deliver a dynamic and inclusive PE curriculum from KS3 through KS5.
  3. Drive participation in both curriculum and extracurricular sports, ensuring high-quality opportunities for all students.
  4. Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team of PE teachers and sports coaches.
  5. Champion the values of health, well-being, and active lifestyles within the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have strong leadership experience.
  2. Be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards in PE.
  3. Have experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced PE curriculum.
  4. Be committed to inclusion, promoting engagement from all students, and fostering talent.
  5. Be a strong role model, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
