We are currently recruiting for a female Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Chorley area!


The role will be varied, but you will be supporting our client with Spina Bifida to lead an individual and independent lifestyle in their own home and the community. Our client has many interests and hobbies but particularly enjoys getting out and about in the community and enjoying social activities.


A bit about us at Salvere Support

Here at Salvere Support we support individual clients in their own homes. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You’ll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.


Hours: 24 hours per week on the following days /shift pattern

  • Week 1 Sunday 8am-8am
  • Week 2 Saturday 8am -8am
  • Week3 and Week 4 Thursday 8am-8pm

You must be a driver with a full driving licence and be comfortable driving the clients wheelchair accessible vehicle and willing to support our client on occasion to attend gigs and weekends away, which will include nights away.

In return Salvere Support offers:

All training is providedand will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.



Who we are looking for:


You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:


  • Spina Biffida (desirable)
  • Supporting Personal care including catheter care.
  • A background in care with some moving and handling experience (would be preferable).
  • The ability to provide companionship with good conversation and keeping clients safe whilst in their own home and also out in the community.
  • Medication administration


You should also have:


  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness
