Cera is recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Totnes. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time permanent positions, including days and nights. This is secure work with good pay, excellent training, and no previous experience required.

Extra Care units offer residents their own self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with access to care staff based within the unit who provide care to each resident. As a care assistant, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalized care and support plans.

Each client's needs are different. You might assist with housework, help with morning routines, prepare meals, provide companionship, or assist with medication, washing, and dressing. More than tasks, our carers become friends, offering companionship, encouragement, and sometimes a laugh, especially during tough times. Caring can be challenging, but it is highly rewarding for the families and individuals you help.
