Female Brain Injury Support Worker / Care Assistant – Bank (Crewe)

Libertatem Healthcare Group is hiring a Female Brain Injury Support Worker / Care Assistant to join a 2:1 complex care team in Crewe. This is a night shift, weekend-based role, supporting a young, sociable woman living with a brain injury. The successful candidate will provide personal care, mobility support, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and seizure management, while promoting independence and community engagement.

Main duties of the job

The role involves providing personal care and mobility support, delivering tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and oxygen therapy, monitoring and managing seizures, supporting daily routines and night-time care, and promoting independence and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with brain injuries or complex needs, and desirable skills include experience with PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, and seizure support.

Shift Pattern:

Day shifts 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Night shifts 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Providing personal care and mobility support
  • Delivering tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and oxygen therapy
  • Monitoring and managing seizures
  • Supporting daily routines and night-time care
  • Promoting independence and community engagement
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries or complex needs
  • Desirable: Experience with PEG feeding (pump or gravity), tracheostomy care, and seizure support
  • A compassionate, dependable approach to person-centred care
  • A Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to the client’s location and needs)
