South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Education and Training Lead to oversee the delivery and development of mental health simulation training programmes in London. You will collaborate with the clinical lead, head of operations and staff to ensure smooth delivery and high educational value across centres.

• Course delivery & development: oversee roll out of training courses and programmes with clinical lead and operations to ensure high educational value.
• Design scenarios and debriefing processes to provide a broad portfolio for clinical teams.
• Ensure high-quality debrief and teaching processes in collaboration with faculty and clinical leads.
• Part of Maudsley Learning team, driving continuous improvement and innovation in education services.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Course delivery & development To oversee andbe responsible forthe successful roll out of training courses and programmes. To work closely with the clinical lead, head of operations and other staff to ensure smooth delivery and co-ordination with the centres medical and non-medical faculty to ensure debriefing occurs in the most educationally valuable way possible. To oversee and to work in collaboration with faculty colleagues, andbe responsible forthe design of a range of scenarios so that a large portfolio of different interventions can be offered to our clinical teams. To oversee andbe responsible forensuring high quality debrief and teaching processes are undertaken by the centres faculty. This willrequireclose working with the clinical lead to ensure consistency across simulation debriefing. To be part of the Maudsley Learning team which is continually striving to improve and to innovate to provide high quality education services to meet the organisations overall aims.
• 2. Business development and income generation: To work with the simulation clinical lead and other modality leads in the development of business plans for new education and training programmes and bids. To be first line of contact and to provide clear verbal and written information for agencies wishing to understand more about mental health and physical health simulation scenarios. To be part of the on-going development of the simulation team within the Trust and to attend and actively contribute to the operational management of the team and to work for its success. Contribute to the Maudsley Learning business planning process by providing analysis and support.
• 3. Project Management Work with the simulation clinical lead,research & developmentteam, head of sales,headof operations and others to set up and maintainprogramme controls, timelines for deliverable projects. Activelymonitorproject timelines and support key stakeholders to ensure adherence and progress to pre-agreed milestones. Attend weekly team meetings to support the review of projects deliverables and monitoring.
