Job Description: Federal Systems Integrator Account Manager

RUCKUS Networks builds and delivers purpose-driven networks that perform in tough, unique environments. Our Federal Sales Team is hiring! Join us and make an impact.

The Federal Systems Integrator Account Manager is responsible for prospecting, pipeline development, and sales engagement within Federal Systems Integrator accounts and other U.S. Federal program accounts. This role involves selling RUCKUS solutions to Federal Systems Integrators and their customers, requiring partnership and a competitive attitude.

How You'll Help Us Connect The World

Applicants should have experience selling Wi-Fi and networking products to high-level management and decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, account and revenue development in the Wi-Fi or networking industry, and experience in channel sales. Knowledge of OEM or Value-added Reseller (VAR) environments is desirable. Understanding of selling through systems integrators and VARs, especially in government contracting, FAR, and program pursuit, is essential. A strong network of FSI and government POCs and the ability to position networking OEMs within government programs are also required. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies are important.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of solution and service-based Federal sales experience in networking hardware or related high-tech fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
  • US Citizen; residence in the Washington D.C. metro area is preferred.
  • Competitive 'hunter' mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the U.S. military or federal government roles.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Track record of account management, forecasting, quota achievement, and sales growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and creative deal-closing strategies.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking platforms, competitors, and market landscape.
