Duties as a Further Education Vocational Teacher:

• Prepare students for vocational qualifications and certifications, ensuring strong academic and career outcomes.
• Monitor learner progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback and tailored interventions.
• Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment projects, and professional development opportunities for students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages professionalism, independence, and resilience.

Ideal Further Education Vocational Teacher:

• A relevant degree, diploma, or professional qualification in a vocational area (e.g., engineering, business, IT, health & social care, construction).
• A recognised teaching qualification suitable for Further Education, such as a PGCE in FE, CertEd, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching vocational courses within a Further Education setting.
• Strong communication, organisation, and mentoring skills.
