About the Role

We are looking to recruit an individual to teach on our Hairdressing courses at our Buxton campus.

This position is an hourly paid role delivering hairdressing to study programme learners.

You will benefit from working in a rapidly growing department with other professionals using industry standard facilities and resources.

Our students have access to comprehensive support services and benefit from extensive links with the University of Derby and other local higher education establishments.

Salary range from £14.05 - £26.53 per hour.

Your rate of pay will be determined by your qualified teacher status.

If you hold a relevant teaching qualification; the lower rate of £15.16 per hour will apply for non-teaching scheduled work. The higher rate of £26.53 per hour will apply for teaching scheduled work.

If you do not hold a relevant teaching qualification, the lower rate of £14.05 per hour will apply for non-teaching scheduled work. The higher rate of £24.59 per hour will apply for teaching scheduled work.

About You
Our lecturers need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful. You will also need to hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 teaching qualification; hold Level 2 Qualifications (either in Functional Skills or GCSE A-C) in both English and maths or a willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale and hold a relevant vocational qualification.
