Job summary

SCL Education Group is seeking an academy coach to deliver coaching and information sessions to students, with responsibility for planning session content and matchday experiences. The role includes maintaining attendance records, supporting trial sessions and providing information to prospective students, and assisting at parent evenings.

Attendance at training days or meetings may be required. The ideal candidate will have a sport-related degree (desirable), a minimum Level 1 in football

Qualifications

• Sport related degree is desirable.
• Minimum Level 1 in football coaching required.
• At least 2 years experience in sport coaching.
• Enhanced DBS/Police Check, Safeguarding Children & First Aid.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coaching and information sessions to students with session plans and content.
• Plan and prepare session content, including matchday experiences for students.
• Keep attendance records and monitor student conduct with the tutor/education team.
• Support at trial sessions and provide information to prospective students and during tasters.
• Assist the tutor at parent evenings and attend training days or company meetings as needed.
