Job summary

Crown Agents Bank is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Generalist, Assistant Vice President, to join the second-line FCC team. The role focuses on governance, management information, policy standards and risk-based advisory across international offices.

You will support senior management, MLRO and governance forums with clear, well‑documented outputs. The AVP will translate regulatory expectations into practical guidance, develop MI, and provide pragmatic compliance advice across AML,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in AML, sanctions, financial crime, governance, advisory or related risk management.
• Strong practical knowledge of UK financial crime requirements (MLR, POCA, Terrorism Act, sanctions, JMLSG).
• Experience preparing governance papers, MI, committee materials, policy documents or regulatory responses.
• Experience providing FCC advisory input on client risk, enhanced due diligence and higher‑risk jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting international offices and cross‑border activity from a second‑line perspective.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate FCC governance forums; plan agendas, papers and tracking.
• Develop and present FCC management information; tailor for senior stakeholders.
• Provide FCC advisory support on AML, sanctions, CTF, bribery, fraud, and risk in products/payments.
• Support FIU coordination and governance inputs across CAB.
• Review client risk assessments and due diligence; support policy development and remediation.
