FC/ASW Mission Planning & Control Lead Architect

Job Overview

Location: Bristol
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
Work arrangement: Hybrid (3-5 days on-site)

MBDA seeks a dedicated Lead Architect for the Mission Planning & Control products of the FC/ASW TP15 project, a complex weapon system supporting UK and international partners. You will generate architectural artefacts, guide other architects, and maximize modularity and re-use across multiple product offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee architectural artefacts within TP15 Mission Planning & Control.
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve project objectives on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in complex systems architecture, including MBSE experience.
  • Understanding of architectural principles in a product line environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Rhapsody, SysML, IBM Engineering Workflow Management, and DOORS Next Generation.
