Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking an entry-level Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (FDT) Engineer at the Broughton site, with hybrid working options. You will work on resolving FDT issues for wing structures and contribute to project scopes, with guidance from senior engineers.

The role requires an Engineering degree with Structural Analysis knowledge, experience with FDT processes (ISAMI, GISEH, Hyperworks/Nastran), and a willingness to gain an approved FDT Signatory. Python knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with a Structural Analysis background.
• Knowledge of FDT for metallic and composite structures.
• Experience with FDT tools ISAMI, GISEH, Hyperworks/Nastran.
• Industry recognised FDT Approval (Check) Signatory or capability to obtain soon.

Responsibilities

• Resolve FDT problems relating to wing structures, modifications, and non-conformances.
• Approve FDT deliverables and steer projects with engineers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Digitalisation teams to implement automation and transformation tools.
• Support the growth of the team and foster leadership behaviours.
