Overview

IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Bistro Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team within the Bistro and Swedish Food Market and Food Prep.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll be the secret ingredient in our recipe for memorable dining experiences, serving up smiles and delicious experiences every day!

What we offer

• Start date of employment: 16th November 2025
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour
• 39 hours per week, 5 days (and 3 out of 4 weekends). Availability to work a variety of shifts between 7:00 am – 10:00 pm

What you’ll need to have

• Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety regulations
• Prior fast-food experience is a plus
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Self-reliant and motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to remain organised and detail-oriented, even when busy
• A passionate and friendly attitude with a hands-on mindset to deliver a great customer experience

• Serve food, take payments at tills, clean and clear the restaurant, and assist with behind-the-scenes food preparation
• Focus on the customer experience; listen, act, and exceed expectations daily
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for customers and co‑workers

• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
