Job summary

Leeds Arts University is seeking a full-time Workshop Instructor for the fashion studios. You will teach undergraduate fashion students in garment construction techniques, ensuring safety and professionalism in line with the curriculum.

You will assist in setting up equipment, preparing materials, and supporting learning, including staff research activities. Flexibility is needed, with potential evening sessions and some home/remote hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Two or more of Pattern cutting, Digital Pattern Cutting, Sewing and construction techniques, or Tailoring are required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct undergraduate fashion students in safe, professional garment construction methods.
• Set up equipment and prepare materials in fashion workshops for teaching and assessment.
• Produce garments and samples as directed by the Course Leader.
