The Company:

A leading importer and distributorare currently looking to recruit a Fashion Sales Administrator to join their growing friendly team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with knowledge of Excel and good administrative skills.

The Role:

  • Receiving incoming calls and emails from customers and dealing with enquiries, quotations and orders
  • Entering of orders with strong attention to detail to ensure the orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Attend meetings with customers both offsite and onsite with the account managers
  • Providing support to the sales team by managing contract orders for key accounts, managing the critical path to ensure deadlines are met and liaising with the buying team to check on progress
  • Reviewing sales contracts from factories, managing factory samples and chasing customers for approvals
  • Managing the critical path for key accounts to ensure deadlines are met
  • Keeping on top of customer orders to ensure they are taking their deliveries
  • Contacting customers by email and phone to ensure they are up to date with current ranges and to push for sales
  • Ensuring the showroom is replenished with samples and arrange samples to be sent to sales agents and customers
  • Monitoring the emails of other team members when they are away from the office
  • Plus any other general office duties

Requirements:

  • Must have good IT skills with proficient knowledge of Excel and good administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess an excellent and confident telephone manner
  • Acute attention detail and must be well organised
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritising workload to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential
  • Good written/ numerical and communication skills
  • Well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team and to be proactive in work
  • Must hold a full valid driving licence
  • Training will be given in all areas
