Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking an Assistant Manager in Castleford to support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, drive sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role offers a £27,500 salary and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a fashion and lifestyle retailer.

You’ll lead, coach and motivate the team, manage stock, merchandising and customer service while delivering strong KPI performance and progression opportunities in a busy retail

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail leadership roles within fashion/lifestyle.
• Strong customer service focus with ability to coach teams.
• Knowledge of retail KPIs and stock/visual merchandising management.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales targets and improving store performance.
• Lead, motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Drive sales through product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
• Recruit, train and develop team members.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide customers with knowledgeable advice on products and availability.
• Promote multi-channel shopping to enhance the customer experience.
• Support stock management, replenishment and product availability.
• Assist with rotas, payroll and controlling store costs.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Maintain company policies and brand standards.
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
