Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc in Manchester is seeking a talented fashion graphic designer to deliver trend-led graphics and artwork across a wide range of high street fashion products.

We’re looking for a talented and commercially minded fashion graphic designer to join our growing design team in Manchester.
Working with some of the biggest names across the high street, you’ll be responsible for creating exciting, trend-led graphics and artwork across a wide range of fashion products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who understands the fast-paced nature of the fashion industry and knows how to turn trends into commercially successful designs.

The Role

• Create original, trend-led graphics and prints for high street fashion.
• Develop artwork across multiple product categories and customer profiles.
• Research current fashion, graphic and cultural trends to inspire new concepts.
• Produce commercially relevant designs that meet customer briefs and brand requirements.
• Adapt artwork for different products, colourways and placements.
• Work closely with the wider design, buying and merchandising teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Present creative concepts and respond positively to feedback.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for fashion, typography, colour and graphic trends, combined with a genuinely commercial approach to design.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience as an apparel graphic designer
• A strong portfolio demonstrating fashion graphics, prints and/or placement artwork.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• An understanding of current high street fashion and emerging trends.
• The ability to translate inspiration and trends into commercially viable designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative design team.
• The ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
