Farsi Speaking Brain Injury Support Worker
  • *Farsi speaking* Brain Injury Support Worker

    Location: Watford
    Hours: 5-hour midday shifts, 3-4 days per week to begin.

    Pay: £16.10 per hour weekdays, £17.10 per hour weekends.

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

    Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

    About the Client
    Our client is in his 40s with a brain injury following a workplace accident. As a result he has lost a great deal of his English, which he was fluent in before and his Farsi (native tongue) has also become compromised. Due to this, any successful support workers MUST speak Farsi.

    The key goal is for the Support Worker to support our client in regaining his independence and quality of life, working with the client on his rehabilitation within a MDT.

    Key Responsibilities:
      • Deliver personalized care and support to our client.
      • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation
      • Support client with his rehabilitation programme.
      • Accompany client out in the community.
      • Provide emotional support and companionship.
      • Work within a MDT.
      • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
      • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
    Requirements:
      • Experience in a similar role, preferably with brain injury experience.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • An understanding of Muslim culture.
      • Farsi speaking desirable, although not essential.
      • Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
      • Valid UK driver's license.
