The firm is expanding its Real Estate practice in Manchester and seeks an experienced Farms, Estates & Rural Land Managing Associate with 8+ years PQE. The role is suitable for candidates with substantial senior-level experience in the rural sector, whether in litigation or transactional law.

Responsibilities include:

• For litigators: landlord/tenant disputes, farming partnership disputes, nuisance claims, right of way disputes, landed estate work, contentious receivership matters, regulatory disputes related to rural land, and collaboration with other teams such as developer, renewables, and natural capital.
• For transactional lawyers: farm and land sales/purchases, country house transactions, refinancing, receiverships of rural property, easements, licenses, and rural tenancies.
