Farm Veterinary Receptionist - Mid Downes Farm Vets

This is a very exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join our brand-new farm site in West Sussex!

As a receptionist you will be a key member of our team, playing an integral role in supporting the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls, managing orders and scheduling appointments
• General office cleaning and maintenance
• Executing task lists provided by practice management
• Other office duties as required

Nestled near the stunning South Downs, West Sussex is home to a wonderful mix of farms raising cattle, sheep and poultry.

We are building a dedicated team of experienced veterinarians and support staff, who will offer comprehensive services that support the health and well-being of our client’s livestock. We believe in building strong, lasting relationships with local farmers, emphasising preventive care and education to help enhance animal health.

More about you

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar working environment and be computer literate.

• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Farm experience is desirable

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with shifts between the hours of 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
