FARM OPERATIVE

ARABLE WORKER

LOUTH, LINCOLNSHIRE

OTE £35K - £40K (7:30 - 16:00 Mon - Thu, 7:30 - 15:00 Fri + overtime)

Are you an experienced Agricultural/Farm Operative/Farm Labourer seeking an amazing opportunity to join a well-established, well-known, family-owned farm located on the outskirts of Louth?

We are seeking a Farm Worker with extensive experience in all aspects of crop cultivation, together with grain drying experience.

As a key member of the team, the Farm Worker, will report directly to the Farm Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of this 1400-acre arable farm. With your expertise, perhaps as an experienced Farm Labourer, and ability to manage tasks efficiently, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the workload and contribute to the ongoing success of this thriving agricultural business. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills to an established farm and make a lasting impact on its future.

It is vital you understand the necessity of working long hours during the harvest season, your commitment will be well rewarded.

Key Responsibilities Farm Worker:

• Experienced machine operator ? tractor, teleporter, chain saw
• Experienced in machinery servicing and repairs
• Good knowledge of fertiliser spreading, hedge cutting and cultivations (crops include wheat, barley, and oilseed rape)
• Grain drying experience is essential Ad hoc day to day activities associated with maintaining a busy farm to necessary high standard
• Minor property repairs on tenant's properties Maintaining hedges, boundaries etc on farm property and surrounding areas

Personal Specification Farm Worker:

• Organised and able to work alone, using own initiative
• Honest and trustworthy
• Willing and keen to work overtime especially during harvest season
• Skilled and careful machine operator
• Excellent driving skills with clean licence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
