Farm Management

To provide overall responsibility for a Broiler Farm, including all aspects of husbandry, ensuring all stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specifications in terms of weight, quality, health & safety, welfare, etc. This encompasses both the commercial and financial aspects of the farm, working within financial and physical budgets, and managing and developing a team where appropriate. Maintain the professional integrity and appearance of the farm and dwellings at all times. Bird welfare must be of utmost priority at all times. The successful candidate will uphold Welfare as a Condition in all their actions. Additionally, the candidate will have opportunities to grow and develop through our bespoke Agriculture Academy, fostering future specialists and leaders in agriculture.

Academy Management

To promote future development within the Lincolnshire Broiler division, encouraging the development of new employees and furthering the careers of existing employees. To assist Assistant Farm Managers in their career progression within the division.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous involvement in the field
• Prepared to undertake NVQs
