We are retained by Yorkshire Dairy Goats to appoint a farm manager for a farm in East Yorkshire.
About the Farm
- 1500 acre farm which is 15 miles from York.
- 3,500 milking goats and 1,500 followers.
- 76 point rotary parlour.
- Good infrastructure for all goats in a central location on the farm.
- Rural location with good local services and schools.
About You
- Previous dairy goat farming experience is not a requirement.
- Excellent record keeping and ability to analyse and interpret data and work with IT.
- Large scale dairy farm management experience.
About the Role
- Hands-on role to implement the agreed farming policy reporting directly to the directors of the business.
- Livestock & forage production farm management role.
- Family house on the farm site.
- Generous salary, on-farm accommodation plus results-based remuneration.
