Farm Business & Operations Manager – full-time, permanent. Based on a 110-acre organic farm near Bath, with a farm shop in Bristol. Salary £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience. On-site accommodation available if required.

Responsibilities
  • Administration, bookkeeping, compliance and operational systems to support the owner in managing and improving a diverse farm business.
The Company

We are recruiting for a long established organic farm near Bath, operating diversified enterprises including eggs, turkeys, vegetables, events, property rentals and a farm shop in Bristol. The role focuses on maintaining sustainable operations while improving efficiency and profitability across all areas of the farm.

The Candidate
  • Significant experience in farm business management or rural enterprise administration
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented
  • Capable of setting up and maintaining financial, administrative and compliance systems
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Xero/QuickBooks, Microsoft Office)
  • Familiarity with farm operations required
  • Experience in organic or mixed enterprises is desirable
