Farm Business Consultant Position

Are you ready to advance your career in farm consultancy? We are seeking an experienced farm business consultant for a well-established regional firm in the North of England.

Due to sustained growth, our client is expanding their team in Alnwick. You will build strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities for yourself and your team.

The ideal candidate will have several years of consultancy experience, with proficiency in advising farmers and landowners. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting farm business appraisals.
2. Preparing reports and budgets to support tenders for Farm Business Tenancies (FBTs), Contract Farming Agreements (CFAs), and Share Farming Agreements (SFAs).
3. Drafting agreement documents for CFAs and SFAs, and overseeing farm strategy and operations.
4. Delivering practical farm management instructions to clients.
5. Providing technical advice where qualified.
6. Assisting with grant aid applications for farmers.
7. Designing options and managing applications for Stewardship schemes, including implementation, management, and compliance.
